Coat: Malamutes has dense, oily and wooly undercoat, and thick and coarse
outercoat
Original Function: heavy sled pulling, large game hunting
Characteristics and Temperaments: Alaskan Malamutes are loyal,
affectionate and friendly. They are usually good as a companion dog, playful and
can get along with kids. Dignity is one of the temperament that makes this breed
impressive

Care: Good combing and grooming are usually enough, although more
intensive care is required during shedding
Training and Activity: This dog requires a lot of training and outdoor
exercises to burn excessive energy
