Characteristics and Temperaments: This breed is an independent dog, but
can be socialized around children and other dog or pet in the house. Bassets are
great playmates and naturally well-behaved. They are very interested in smell
that sometimes it is hard to get their attention
Care: The short hair requires little grooming. Ears should be kept clean
and toenails trimmed regularly. Bassets shed the whole year
Training and Activity: Training this basset hound breed needs patience
and persistence. The dog has high level of endurance but doesn't require much
exercise as long as they can move freely in the yard
