Characteristics and temperaments: Belgian Tervuren requires socialization
from puppies because it is instinctively protective. Well trained, this dog
should not be shy and zealous
Average Size of Male: Height: 24 - 26 inches, Weight: 55 - 65 pounds
Average Size of Female: Height: 22 - 24 inches, Weight: 40 - 50 pounds
Care: During shedding, extensive care should be given. Tervurens are best
cared with thorough brushing twice a week. Formed mats should be clip out
Training and activity: The dog is accustomed to active outdoor life.
