Coat: Almost all black with white flashings. The coat is medium length,
straight to slightly wavy
Characteristics and temperaments: This breed is very loyal to its family
and makes a good family dog and socialized well with other family pets. He is
alert but fairly friendly with strangers
Care: Extra attention is needed during shedding. Bathe and brushing are
necessary to keep the coat and hair looking great. The coat should be natural,
but a bit of trimming is acceptable or even necessary
Training and activity: Bernese Mountain dog requires consistent training
and is very responsive to the voice of his trainer. Train gently and involve him
with a lot of exercise like running and playing
