Colors: fawn and brindle; with or without white markings and black
stripes. Fawn shades are from light tan to mahogany
Coat: tight-fitting coat, short and smooth. White should not cover more
than one-third of the coat
Characteristics and temperaments: The Boxer is a friendly dog, which can
get along with children and other household pets. He is also patience, alert,
protective, high-spirit, playful, curious and full of energy. This breed needs a
dominant owner to train him from an early age
Average Size of Male: Height: 22.5 - 25 inches, Weight: 65 - 80 pounds
Average Size of Female: Height: 21 - 23.5 inches, Weight: 50 - 65 pounds
Care: The dog is very clean and like to groom himself like cats. Brushing
only when necessary will keep the coat in good condition.
Training and activity: Because of his protectiveness and strength, a
Boxer requires an obedience training since he is a puppy. The dog likes to jump
and other energetic activities
