Characteristics and temperaments: The Chesapeake Bay Retriever is bright,
intelligent, courage, active, and aggressive at times. This type of retriever is
probably not for inexperienced owners and tends to dominate other male dogs
Avg Size of male: Height: 23 - 26 inches, Weight: 65 - 80 pounds
Avg Size of Female: Height: 21 - 24 inches, Weight: 55 - 70 pounds
Care: The coat is easy to groom. Bathe only when necessary. Remove dead
hairs with a firm bristle brush. This breed is an average shedder
Training and activity: Being energetic, this dog requires a lot of
exercise and play time
